High Desert (760)

come checkout the new-ish SoCal Drupal group - it's been revamped. like totally. I've redone the homepage and added a "recent" tab. PLUS, I've added "locales" & "skills" that allow for better categorization of posts.

why? as I see it the main goal of the group is twofold:

• to help users in SoCal without formal groups to connect
• to help existing formal groups to find new users and more easily share information with each other, especially events.

Drupal Groups in Southern California

• LA Drupal - very active group. regular monthly meetings. mgr: Chris Charlton
• Inland Empire: High Desert - very active group. regular meetings. mgr: Tom Friedhof
• OC Drupal - Active group. regular monthly meetings. meetup organizer/s: William Estrada & Jason Gordon
• Riverside County South / Temecula Valley - regular monthly meetings. no gdo page. mgr: Craig Gardner
• San Diego - very active group. regular monthly meetings. mgr: Senpai
• Santa Barbara - maintain a gdo group. intermittent meetings. mgr: Owen Barton (grugnog)
• South Bay SoCal - Brand new group started to resolve some confusion within the California gdo groups. mgr: Jeremy (jerdiggity)
• SoCal - hub gdo group used to facilitate meetings in areas not yet large enough for a group. mgr: Mike Stewart

We're starting a new drupal group up in the High Desert for all the folks that currently drive over 100 miles to get to LA Drupal, and for those people that don't currently want to make that drive.
