I'm excited about the prospect of a Western Montana Drupal Group. I know the holiday season is upon us, and we're all busy, but I'm ready to meet when everyone else is.

I just cam across this: http://serviceweek.mozilla.org: "Mozilla Service Week [Sept. 14-21] is all about community – your community. This was the second Drupal meeting in Cape Town. There were 5 of us and it was quite fun. It was nice to have Willem van Straaten (http://groups.drupal.org/user/155) with us from Johannesburg to see what were about down here and to try and co-ordinate the meeting content between JHB and CPT. Basically there was no agenda for this meeting so we chatted about all sorts of interesting things and it was not very structured.

como hemos quedado al final del DrupalCamp Centroamerica que queremos hacer reuniones informales cada mes, les escribo para proponer el primer jueves del proximo mes (4 de junio). Como lugar ideal pensaria en un lugar abierto (y conocido) como un bar o restaurante que tenga una sala aparte que nos ponga a la orden. Alguien tiene una idea donde encontrariamos algo asi en Managua?
Mejor seria que nos encontremos despues de que la gente salga del trabajo. Pienso como a las 7pm seria bueno.

Que opinan?

We've been busy launching our latest client Drupal site - http://holymoly.com - so I haven't had chance to organise the meeting I said there was going to be tomorrow (7th) at the West Hill.

I'm really coming to the limit of what I can run - I'm doing this, the Hove Social Media Cafe, and starting up a Virtual Enteprise Network, as well as running my business ;)

If people want to meet up tomorrow because they can't make a Wednesday that would be cool, perhaps someone would like to step forward as organiser of that - I'll stick with the monthly third Wednesday before the Farm.

Yes, we do have a our monthly gathering Monday, April 27th at 7pm at NextSpace.

This meetup will serve to provide a foundation for new Drupal users. We will be doing a I-just-installed-Drupal-now-what walk-through of the Drupal admin area.

We'll assume you made it through the installation of Drupal. So what do you do now? Come find out! We'll answer those time-honored Drupal questions like "Where am I," "But I just want to..." and "How do I change the home page." And many more.

OK I've come up with a plan for meetings, please reply if this is an issue for you! I've tried to accommodate everyone's needs, including mine which is at some point to go to the Brighton Robotics meetup which is the last Thursday of the month.

So, seen as we did a Thursday last time for the workshop, I'm proposing:

2nd Thursday of each month at the West Hill just behind Brighton station, so should be easy for commuters, 6pm start.

4th Wednesday of each month at the Farm Freelancers meetup, 6pm start (Farm starts at 8pm). Usually they meet at the Hampton Arms.

En esta oportunidad no tuvimos code sprint y por eso la próxima reunión será doble. En una sala se discutirán los temas del día, mientras en la otra se hará desarrollo. Creo que este paso es muy importante porque luego se pueden hacer reuniones múltiples, agregando: capacitación, design sprint, documentation sprint, etc. Lo que si hicimos fué discutir sanamente y mucho.

Dokeos Latinoamérica (bueno, principalmente Michela en realidad) organizamos la primera reunión del grupo PHP Perú (no han tenido reunión antes) el Sábado 7 de Febrero en Miraflores.
