need help getting site into a SVN repository
Hey all,
I've finally gotten to the point of moving my site into the "real world" and off of my desktop running XAMPP. I'm trying to do things proper and I've set up a SVN server at Beanstalk (www.beanstalkapp.com/). So, at this point I'm trying to figure out how to best manage the site and the repository. I'm a SVN newbie, so I'm struggling with how I should go about adding my site files to the repository. I'm using Tortoise SVN for windows. So, should I make a new repository and add the whole Drupal installing into that folder? Or, should I create a repository inside the drupal folder and add the /sites/.. folder into the repository?
I ultimately want to be to be able to have the main live site get committed to the repository every day, then get copied to a test site. I'm just not sure how to best get things initially set up.

Extern länk för inloggning
Hej!
Om jag inte vill ha någon inloggning på min sida utan helt enkelt kunna nå inloggningen från en annan subdomän, finns det någon smidig lösning då?
Ex.
publik sajt: example.org
administration: admin.example.org
Antar att om jag bara har en site som är example.org så kommer bägge adresserna mappas dit, men hur avgör jag om det är administrationen man vill åt och inte den publika sajten.??
Tack på förhand! :D
A guided tour through the hostmaster installation wizard
I just spent some time documenting the new installation wizard for Aegir, and annotating it on this hostmaster wizard photoset on flickr.

Seeking to add partners / team members to growing start-up.
We plan to be the preeminent host of VPS's for Drupal & CiviCRM. Not a one-size-fits-all solution, but an infrastructure optimized for these apps. True VPS with root access where you can install any software you want, and if you want Drupal, you'll get the best performance possible.
And sometimes we're just a Development shop disguised as a Hosting Company.
I've grown the company as far as I can on my own, now I need to grow the team. Seeking to fill two roles:
LAMP Administrator
Q: Disable admin viewing of content on shared database
I am currently running a shared database set up for a few domains. I am sharing most of the core things like nodes, comments and taxonomy.
This works great and I am able to lock certain sites out of viewing content by using hook_db_rewrite_query().
The problem comes when viewing admin pages. For some reason it looks as though the admin pages do not rewrite their queries and as a result I am shown all the nodes in the database no matter what domain I am browsing from. The same things happens with comments and taxonomy and anything else that is shared.

Can only group managers send email?
An admin in my group gets access denied. Ideally, group admins should be able to send email?
