Act TODAY: Drupal Association Elections: application deadline is February 10
Are you passionate about Drupal? Would you like to volunteer for the Drupal Association? Do you have skills that can help promote Drupal in new frontiers? Help organize events locally, regionally and globally?
If you answer yes to all the above, then the association is holding its second annual elections shortly. The deadline for applications is one day away. Applications are due by end of day tomorrow (February 10, 2009).
Drupal Association Badge
The 'My Account' pages on g.d.o and d.o should have a option to embed the Drupal Association Badge. Maybe use a checkbox style similar to g.o -- It would be nice to verify the badge, so maybe provide a link to the association membership with the image?
Hola Senor! We are Federales. Ya know, the mounted police.
DrupalCampNYC3 donation to Drupal Association!
DrupalCampNYC3 is over and everything has finally been wrapped up. The camp was a big success bringing over 130 people together for one full day of Drupal Goodness and a second day of developer hacking. As usual the crowd consisted of people from all walks of life from the complete new-to-drupal person to the advanced Drupal hacker. It was a great time. Thanks to everyone that attended!
Mini design project for the Drupal Association
Greetings.
I am a volunteer fund raiser on the Board of the Drupal Association. We are working on better integration between the main Drupal.org website and the association.drupal.org website. One of the obvious things we are working on first is a 'Spotlight' image for the Drupal association - these are the graphics that show up in the rounded box on the upper right of drupal.org; 'Drupal Planet' 'Security Announcements' etc.

Chad Fowler over “The (non) innovations of the ruby on rails framework”
Sponsored by Logica, Chad Fowler on “The (non) innovations of the ruby on rails framework” in Delft (The Netherlands)
Interesting since :
1) RoR is so hip, it is nearly the new Drupal (yes, I /know/ the difference).
2) Chad is co-founder of rubycentral.org, a not for profit association/foundation dedicated to support Ruby on Rails.
