Bug: duplicate mission statement at the bottom of the group page

It seems there is bug in groups.drupal.org: a duplicate mission statement at the bottom of the page when the groups don't use the default image for the mission (that is, an alternative image, or no image).

On the other hand, there is not problem in the groups using the default image, like for example http://groups.drupal.org/groups-drupal-org .

Examples of affected groups:

http://groups.drupal.org/australia
http://groups.drupal.org/latin-america
http://groups.drupal.org/maintenance

http://groups.drupal.org/taxonomy

etc...

Bug in Zen Classic theme: Logo link is using base_path instead of front_page

· · · ·

Hi there all and thanks everyone for their work in the zen theme! I'm pretty new to drupal and I was using it as a basis in a multi-lingual site but I was in front of a bug: when the presentation language was different than the default language the logo link (which is supposed to take you back to the home page) was pointing always on the default language. I started searching on google, thinking that it was a drupal problem, but since I couldn't find nothing I started to search through the source code of zen theme.

Problem with Polls

I've noticed a long-term problem with polls on Groups. Once a poll is created, it can not be edited or recategorized in any way or the data for that poll is completely lost. I take personal responsibility for messing up this poll on the NYC site:( I simply wanted to make it a featured post, so I added it to the featured category and hit save. To my dismay all the data in the poll vanished. Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

Language selection (from block) doesn't filter content by language ?? (D6)

I was under the impression that when selecting a language, from the language selection block (in drupal6), the content is also filtered to display only the nodes in the selected language

This behaviour is also confirmed by this handbook page http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/translation

Use the language switcher block provided by locale module to allow users to select a language. If available, both the site interface and site content are presented in the language selected.

(maybe this is not really for drupal 6.x as it states ??)

Junior Drupal Software Engineer | Toronto Startups Ltd.

Employment type:
Part time
Telecommute:
Allowed

Dear Candidate,

We are a small startup organization founded in late 2006 which provides software for churches using the Drupal platform.
We are currently in the development stage of the final half of the software, but have clients beginning to use it already with reduced functionality.
As we get feedback from these clients and take their comments into account, there are many small changes in the software which need to be addressed in a timely fashion. Most changes are not complex, but some require PHP work in order to modify a specific module's GUI, functionality, or simply wording.

  • Fields: Image: Display Image, option; preview
  • Filter: Node: Type: 'is one of': 'Image;
  • Filter: Taxonomy: Terms for Image Galleries: 'si all of': 'E-Cards'

I wanted to raise the flag on a potential SEO problem with Drupal 4.7.5 and Drupal 5.0 with regards to 404 Page not found.

The issue has been discussed in detail and several patches have been put on the table. Here's where you can have your say and get involved in the action:

CCK Bug

At last month's meetup we discussed the CCK module and I described a bug that I ran into, it happens when you use PHP code in a CCK content type.

If you include php functions in your CCK content type the page is still processed but the "skin" around it (i.e. your theme) isn't processed. Standard PHP code with no functions is just fine but once you add a function (regardless of function type, size, name, etc.)

Its been confirmed by a few others but no solution yet. I found a workaround and had to move on. I hope to return to this bug in the future but right now I'm on a deadline to get 3 sites up and running so... no time..
