Como parte de las actividades del Grupo "Spanish Documentation and Related", tengo el privilegio de anunciarles que el grupo Drupal Perú hizo un primer paso en el desarrollo de materiales para el futuro portal de recursos en español para Drupal.

La receta es muy sencilla, solo tienes que:
1. escoger un Podcast de Drupal, por ejemplo de Lullabot: http://www.lullabot.com/podcast
2. escuchar tomando apuntes
3. resaltar los temas que más te gustan
4. (opcional) buscar información adicional en Internet
5. hacer una grabación repitiendo la información que anotaste, junto con tus comentarios
6. (opcional) prepara la receta junto con tus amigos para obtener mejores resultados!
7. Sube tu podcast a Internet(archive.org de preferencia) y compártelo en un comentario a este mensaje.

Dear Drupal users,

I am looking for short, medium and long-term programming / development assistance for an international initiative soon-to-be-launched aimed at prosecuting the United States, its leaders and allies, on charges of the crime of genocide in Iraq.

The new initiative is currently being built offline. It already needs significant volunteer resources, particularly in establishing capacity to provide content in Arabic and Spanish as well as English. There are also significant security considerations that need expert input.

Ocurre que traduje algunos módulos del inglés al castellano para un trabajo que finalmente no me pagaron.
Tengo toda la intención de compartir libremente mi trabajo con la comunidad pero ciertamente necesito recuperar mi inversión en ello. De allí mi idea de publicar a la venta las traducciones que hice, es más, brindar servicios de traducción y luego ir contribuyendo de pocos las traducciones con la comunidad.

El amigo Jorge Valencia (http://groups.drupal.org/user/9453), de http://www.sincanon.org ha enviado la traducción para el módulo de Google Analytics y la he colocado en el folder po del cvs del módulo, por lo que mañana debe estar incluida en el paquete. La anexo acá de todas formas en formato con la extensión .txt. Es sólo cambiarle la extensión a .po al copiar el archivo que anexo.

I have completed the translation to Spanish of the Buddylist v.5.x-1.0 (2007-Jun-27) module and related files and modules (buddylist_views.inc, buddylist.module, buddylist.info, buddylist.install, buddylistautoadd.info, buddylistinvite.info, buddylistautoadd.module, buddylistinvite.module).

I have completed the translation to Spanish of the Private message v5.x-1.8 module and related files and modules (privatemsg.info, mail_edit.module, mail_edit.info).

The current es.po translation file included with the module is quite old and inaccurate, which generates plenty of confusion when used.

Hi, I am Engel Sanchez from Solunion Group, based in Dominican Republic and working for several online newspapers in Latin America en USA Latino. I am a fan of Drupal. I am just waiting for the 5.0 general release version so I can start playing with it for some sites. All current newspapers use another solution, and I want to evaluate our direction, going with drupal or keep our current cms.
