Theme Developer | New Eon Media

We are currently seeking a part-time theme developer to help with both our client and internal projects. The position will require 20-30 hours a week through September on a contract basis, with the potential for future work.

We give a strong preference to contractors in the San Francisco Bay Area. While this is a telecommuting position, we would prefer to occasionally meet in person in San Francisco's Mission District. U.S. residents only, please.

Candidates should be familiar with the complexities of theme development, including, but not limited to:

• A reasonable understanding of PHP
• $vars manipulation
• theme_ overrides
• Cross-browser testing
• Outstanding CSS/XHTML skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience with jQuery
• A working knowledge of MySQL
• A background knowledge of module development
