Development Manager | Chase Technology Consultants

My client, is seeking a needs a hands on Manager with Open Source experience within a LAMP environment, and who has practiced or is certified in Scrum development for a significant Web 2.0 or content management site.

Requirements
- 5+ years management experience in commercial (not IT) software development developing customer/biz facing web site
- Experienced managing a distributed engineering team
- Experienced in distributed Scrum or XP processes

• Managed and recruited teams of at least 10 engineers
• Certified Scrum Master
• LAMP experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Highly organized
• Led teams to scale a highly available & scalable LAMP application

Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

Pluses
- Experience managing teams to deliver large scale social or SaaS web properties
