Lead Web developer | Basecamp Business

Growing, startup business is seeking a savvy Drupal web developer to leverage pre-existing modules and write custom modules in support of multiple web-based applications. You must have previous experience and a solid track record implementing Drupal based sites and web applications. The candidate must have:

• Experience developing websites with Drupal 5 or 6.
• Experience working with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, and HTML/CSS.
• In depth knowledge of Drupal 5/6 modules, Drupal Module Development, and Drupal Themes.
• Ability to quickly conceptualize and execute project to specifications on time and under budget.
• Rigor and positive attitude to work in a startup environment.
• Infinity for technical, business, and Internet trends.

The candidate must be able to use their knowledge of Drupal 5/6 modules and theming to consult and give guidance about the appropriateness of writing custom modules. The project requirements and priorities shift constantly; the candidate must be able to adapt and respond quickly. You must be able to abandon old ideas and quickly adapt to current scenarios.

Compensation will be based on experience. You will need to work on site initially, but consideration will be given to telecommuting options if we are confident in your abilities.
